Too Many Karen's
Alright, this is ridiculous. I'm changing my name; I've decided, there are far too many Karen's in my life...
How about...Rachel..that's what i was supposed to be named anyway...no..i don't like that one either...and I can't do Jennifer..that's my cousins name...(though we don't share a last name..so technically I guess I could...) Need a new name...help me..
I'm out driving my brother around today, in my sister-in-law's truck...(they're in the middle of moving...so she stayed back at home unpacking while we made a coffee/beer run). Minding my own business, and signalling I might add, I get pulled over...c'mon people...what's the deal with me and val tags? what's up with that?
So I tell the cop...it's not my car it's my sister-in-law's so bear with me while we try to locate the registration and insurance...(anyone who knows Karen2 insert laughter here) So after we determine that there are no documents to be found...I tell the officer again..sorry sir, this isn't my car...so now, after I've given him my licence..he thinks I'm a liar...cause we have the same name...we live at different addresses but we have the same name...hullo ppl that's what a first or middle initial is for..hence my J and her E...
So now I have a ticket..and to top this all off, the sticker is only expired by 12 days...nice...!
Officer was nice enuf not to ticket me for the registration and insurance...but now I have to count on Karen 2..to go on down to the court and vindicate me...:(
I'm taking suggestions regarding a new title for this blog...I suspect that 'Confessions of a Narcissist' may scare ppl away...I mean it is an assinine title afterall...(asinine=better than plethora) Though I'm having difficulty understanding why we need to title everything...what is it about a title that is so calming ? so utterly normal?
I remember in high school I had this math teacher (thank you for reminding me janice) that never titled his lessons...and we used to just give it to him over it...in fact I think he passed me just so he didn't have to see me anymore...but really why did we need a title??
A little delirious today...but I'm not apologizing...this should at least be entertaininng...for the precious few who feel the need to read my rants...(so far..this amounts to like 1 that I know of...and no comments)..
